The City of Mineral Wells has a program providing FREE Treated Non-Potable water at their Waste Water Plant. This plant is located at 1 Pollard Creek Drive, south of Mineral Wells. Please contact them at 940-328-7825 for details.

AS WE UNDERTAND AT THIS TIME: This water is not for consumption or use by humans (No Drinking, Washing Dishes, Laundry or Baths/Showers, Etc.). We are told that the water is high in chlorine but you can give it to animals. Please note that the water is dispensed through a Fire Hose. As we understand it, there is not limit at this time. You must provide your name and the amount of water you are getting each time, among other requirements. Our contact says that you can get the Treated Non-potable water from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday - Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM .

We know that there has been concern over watering foundations during these drought conditions, as well as other concerns. In light of our current water use restrictions, every opportunity helps.
